Embodied Recovery Coaching
Rebuilding confidence, self-trust, and direction — slowly, safely, honestly
There are times when recovery isn’t just physical.
When life has changed your body, your confidence, or your sense of self — and returning to who you were is neither possible nor necessary.
Embodied Recovery Coaching exists for those moments.
This work supports people who are rebuilding after illness, burnout, trauma, loss, or prolonged stress — when confidence feels fragile, self-trust has been shaken, and direction feels unclear.
Not in a rush.
Not through force.
But with care.
Who this is for
- your body has been through something significant
- your confidence no longer lives where it once did
- you feel disconnected from your instincts or inner signals
- you’ve learned to cope, but not yet to feel at home again
- you want to move forward without bypassing what you’ve lived
This work may be right for you if:
This support is especially suited to people navigating longer recovery periods, nervous-system overwhelm, identity change, or the quiet grief of letting go of former capacities.
There is nothing wrong with you for needing time.
What this work is
Embodied Recovery Coaching is offered as a short, contained series of 3–6 one-to-one sessions, designed to provide steadiness as you rebuild from the inside out.
- restore a sense of internal safety and steadiness
- rebuild confidence without hardening or self-criticism
- reconnect with bodily awareness and inner signals
- gently re-establish trust in yourself and your decisions
- explore direction that feels honest, realistic, and aligned
Together, we take time to:
The pace is careful.
Nothing is pushed.
Nothing is forced.
We listen to the body as much as the mind.
How I work
My approach is grounded, trauma-aware, and shaped by lived experience of physical recovery, nervous-system disruption, identity change, and rebuilding a life that no longer looks the same as it once did.
This is not performance-based coaching.
There are no “shoulds” here.
Instead, the work is supported by:
- somatic awareness
- reflective inquiry
- nervous-system regulation
- compassionate truth-telling
At the heart of the work is one guiding principle:
Holding the centre.
As confidence returns, it does so gently — rooted in what remains, rather than what has been lost.
What this can support
- a steadier relationship with their body
- renewed self-trust
- less internal pressure
- clearer boundaries
- a quieter, more grounded sense of direction
People often describe leaving this work with:
This work is not about becoming who you were before.
It’s about learning to live well as who you are now.

Gentle FAQs
Do I need to prepare anything?
No. There’s nothing you need to bring, plan, or work out in advance. We begin from where you are.
Is this therapy?
No. This is coaching — reflective, embodied, and forward-oriented. If you need clinical or therapeutic support, I encourage you to seek a qualified healthcare professional.
What if I don’t know what I want yet?
That’s completely okay. Many people begin this work without clarity. Orientation often comes through the process itself.
What if I become emotional during a session?
That’s welcome here. There’s no expectation to perform or hold yourself together.
Is there pressure to continue after the series?
No. This work is intentionally contained. Any continuation is always by choice.
